The cabin was a beautiful place for our girls’ trip of 5. Very spacious, clean and perfectly remote while also being close to all the best hiking trails, Lake Logan and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and spend more time here in the fall.

We had a great time! Great campfires, big rooms, nice dining tables, lots of fun! Conkle’s Hollow was a great trail that is paved. Well stocked cabin. We loved it!

"It's so beautiful!" - coming of the driveway. What a spectacular and special time our family enjoyed in the specious and serene setting. The cabin had everything we needed to be cozy and entertained. We will definitely be back and loved our late winter Oktoberfest!!

Another Hocking Hills stay at the Black Forest Chalet in the books. We feel like we are home here. The grandkids love the hiking trails and the downstairs Ratskeller room. I think we spent most of our time on the porch by a fire and watching OSU. GO BUCK!

We loved our stay in your beautiful cabin. The grandkids liked watching the deer from the back deck and playing foosball. The young adults appreciated exploring several local hiking trails and we old folks got to kick back, lounge and read some good books on the wonderful wrap-around porch.

Had a wonderful time at your beautiful cabin. The furniture is amazing, love natural wood furniture. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. This is a beautiful location. Forgot, the gaming is awesome!

Came for my 50th birthday “girls weekend”. I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful cabin. With the chaos of life – we all needed a little get away. The only thing that would make this better would have been one extra day!

Our family of eight adults and three children stayed at the stunning Black Forest Chalet recently and had a wonderful time. The chalet was immaculately clean and beautifully prepared for our visit. The furnishings were almost entirely made of logs and really gave you that log cabin feel. There were even touches of tasteful holiday decorations! Loved the German theme and the kitchen was well equipped for meal prep as well. The amenities including the hot tub, pool table, and game tables were thoroughly enjoyed. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we enjoyed our family time together and can’t wait to come back again!

Stayed at the Black Forest chalet--there were 5 of us woman--all had our own bathroom and privacy. The cabin is beautiful and in the best location. Hope was our cleaning lady and checked us in--She was great very knowledgeable about where to go and so forth. Made sure the hot tub was heated by the time we got there. Very clean and all new with the warmth of a cozy cottage. We are planning to stay at the same place next year!!

We loved this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for our family get together. The decks were lovely. the kids loved the game room. the mattresses were comfy. The kitchen was amply stocked. It was perfect.

Our family of 8, Grandparents, 2 sets of parents, and 2 grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away in Hocking Hills. The Black Forest Chalet is beyond beautiful. It was so nice to disconnect from technology and reconnect as a family. We grilled, saw the nearby falls and just enjoyed family time. This will be a yearly trip from now on and we plan to spend it right here at Black Forest Chalet!
