Das Holzhaus — German for “The Wooden House” — is a custom-built Jubach log home with German influences throughout. Owned by an American/German family, it sits tucked away on gated, wooded acreage yet stays central to the Hocking Hills, about 5 miles from downtown Logan and a 13-minute drive to Old Man's Cave.
Comfortably sleeping up to 6 across three private bedrooms (two king, one queen) and 2.5 baths, the first-floor master has a private luxury bath while a beautifully finished lower level adds two more bedrooms and a full bath. Enjoy two stone gas-log fireplaces — inside and out — a gourmet kitchen with induction stove, and a lower-level entertainment space with wet bar, mini fridge, shuffleboard and soft-tipped darts. Complimentary Starlink WiFi with TV streaming and YouTube TV, plus EV charging via a convenient 110v outlet.

- Must be 25 years of age to rent — valid driver's license required
- Minimum 2-night stay (some holidays require 3 nights)

- $300 security deposit authorization hold in addition to the rental rate

$299 – $599 / night
Rates vary by season (peak vs. winter) and by weekend vs. weekday. Weekend rates apply Thursday–Sunday. A 2-night minimum is required. Rates as low as $299 and up to $599 per night.
